Sophie’s determination to wear her long pink mermaid hair to school causes a bit of a stir but she doesn't care because holding onto those silking strands always helps when she has a nervous tummy.  But when the wandering wig causes one problem after another, Sophie's attempts to control each situations gets more difficult.  Despite her efforts, Sophie is told she must leave the wig at home.  Sophie loves school, but she can't go without her wig.  Can't she find a compromise?
